Finally we are on our way to Sardinia but already at Rome Airport we were greeted by our deluxe cheerleading team, The Pom Pom Girls, with pink champagne, tomato mozarella and everything in national colours.

Upon arrivial we got our rented boat. Quite surprised to see that Italian standards are some what lower than ours so we spent all day patching it up instead of being out sailing as planned.

A random by-passer whom we asked for help to move the boat turned out to be the Hong Kong Hobie Cat dealer with the most amazing knowledge which he was willing to share. Thanks a lot Tong!!!!!

The boat is now ready for our first tour of the bay. We will keep you posted.
